Coming soon at Gamescom.
We had envisioned a release at the end of the year but REPLACED has definitely been pushed back to 2025, with no further details on when it will be released. In a press release, the studio explains that the goals are not achievable: “Let’s cut to the chase: REPLACED will now be released in 2025. Our initial release date was optimistic, and we apologize for that. Developing REPLACED is a completely unique challenge, and we are proud to have created something so special.”
He also explains that more time is needed to make sure the adventure lives up to expectations. But the news comes with a deadline: The game will be playable at Gamescom, Which will take place in Germany in a few days. So the first public demo will be available to those who will be there (and if you are not there, we will be there to talk to you about it). Obviously, the surprise still awaits those who are absent: “For those who won't be in attendance, we have something special lined up for later this week.” Demo ad? New trailer?
Currently, Replaced is planned for PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Game Pass in 2025.
