During the recent Oculus Connect conference, we were able to discover Oculus Infinite Office, a set of features built into the Oculus Home interface to make it easier to work in virtual reality.
A few months ago, a Bluetooth mouse and trackpad detection feature was added with the Oculus Quest 25.0 software update. A new move soon with two new features that will be published with update 28.0.
Your office in virtual reality
Since you can add your sofa to your virtual reality world, Oculus will soon allow the possibility to design a real flat surface like your office for example, and replicate it in the virtual world. You can then drop tools like a web browser for example or use them to place your keyboard.
Keyboard in VR
After the mouse, the Bluetooth keyboard can be paired with your virtual reality headset. So you will be able to write on the keyboard and watch its modeling in virtual reality. To get started on your own Logitech K830 keyboard It will be compatible but others will follow.
To be used, these two functions must be activated from Settings as test functions.
