Blizzard Entertainment announced that it will host its flagship event, BlizzCon, after a year of not partying with fans due to the pandemic. Although it cannot be shared with the fans personally, the company brought players the heat of excitement in the games with a large number of games it unveiled at the event and one of those games that generated the most enthusiasm was the remake of Diablo. II.
After providing loads of information about Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal, the company shared one final surprise for fans of the franchise: Diablo II Resurrected Confirmation. The rumors turned into reality, as Blizzard Entertainment has finally redesigned it, which will include many new features that will attract new players without neglecting the old ones.
Diablo II is arriving on consoles for the first time
We say this because this new version of Diablo will be a modified version that will improve the 2D visuals and render it in 3D not only from the original game but also from the Lord of Destruction expansion. In addition, 27 minutes of the film will be shown, rewritten from the original material.
Best of all, PC gamers will not only be able to enjoy this new version, but it will reach consoles too! That’s right, you can try it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S and even Nintendo Switch!
Diablo II Resurrected will support cross progression, so you won’t have to worry about which platform you are playing on as you can totally enjoy it where you left off on any system.
