There are currently no next-generation boxing games out there, and you can’t really say that this genre is really the rage. The good news for fans is that eSports Boxing Club intends to bridge that gap with fun gameplay and achievement worthy of headlines.
Realistic licenses and real boxing
ESBC aims for quality, and allows players to start out as a hobbyist to climb the ranks and reach the professional rank to win the coveted Lonsdale belt, then win continental and world titles, all under official licenses
Not only will it be a matter of mastering your fighter but also about hiring your own crew with a trainer, nutritionist, promoter, etc. The game roster will consist of past and current boxing champions such as Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Caleb Plant, Shawn Porter, Shannon Courtenay or Sophie Alisch. The character creation system will also be in the game.
The eSports Boxing Club is targeting an early access release this summer on Steam, and will subsequently be released on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. Online multiplayer mode, as well as post-launch content have been planned in the form of seasons.
