The Bordeaux startup founded by Audrey Bercillon and Thomas Didier, specializing in virtual reality solutions applied to optics, is launching LenScape, which rethinks the customer experience among opticians. Using a headset, they can virtually test different types of lenses on site, in order to find the best option for their needs. By allowing opticians to stand out from the competition, this “innovative solution also helps to strengthen customer loyalty, stimulate sales of additional equipment and improve brand image”, as Eyesoft specifies in a press release. Accessible from €119 excluding VAT per month, LenScape complements Eysesoft’s range of solutions dedicated to opticians, in particular EMAA Check, “dedicated to the prevention and management of lens misfits”. The startup, which also offers a range dedicated to orthopedic rehabilitation, equips 712 professionals and claims to have treated more than 45,000 patients (sales volumes not reported). It plans to roll out internationally in the second half of 2024.
