In May 2023, the Municipalities Community South Corsica I rented a mobile aquatic center that allowed school children to do this. Porto Vecchioas well as young people residing in ALSH in the far south, to benefit from this structure that facilitates learning to swim.

Now completed, and since its inauguration on Thursday 19 September, this structure is ready to operate throughout the territory of southern Corsica.
Mobile aquatic center, since Saturday afternoon, September 21, has been receiving high-level care in the person of the swimmer. Florent Manaudouthe Olympic champion in London in 2012 and the medalist in the following Olympic Games in Rio, Tokyo and of course Paris this summer with two bronze medals in the 50m freestyle and the 4x100m medley relay.
The ceremony took place in the early afternoon in the presence of the Mayor of Portoviejo, Jean-Christophe Angelini, and Véronique Philippe, the sports assistant.
