Around 8:20 p.m., a young 20-year-old spoke to a person of the same age on the arrival road and asked to be able to use his cell phone for a short time. The subsequent victim agreed. The perpetrator immediately hit him in the face and snatched the mobile phone from him and fled. The owner of the cell phone took the chase after the thief, and he succeeded. But when the offender hit him again, he turned and let him go.

As part of the search that began immediately thereafter, a 20-year-old suspect was arrested by a patrol from the Gunzenhausen police station. The mobile phone was also found and returned to its owner after obtaining evidence. He was slightly injured in the face as a result of the beating.

The Franconian Central Criminal Police took over the first criminal police proceedings. The police commissioner for criminal police robbery in Ansbach undertook further investigations. Officials have launched a preliminary investigation into suspected burglary against the 20-year-old suspect.
