Haier Y16: The new 16-inch laptop with Intel i5 processor is now official

Haier Y16 is the new lightweight laptop from the famous electronics brand Haier. The company's new productivity-focused laptop has some great features. The Haier Y16 features a large 16-inch IPS LCD (anti-glare) screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. The screen also supports 100% sRGB color gamut and Haier claims that it offers an excellent visual experience with color reproduction accurately.

Under the hood, the productivity-focused laptop is equipped with an Intel i5-12450H, an octa-core mid-range processor. The flagship chipset is paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCle 4.0 SSD. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated GPU. Instead, you'll get Intel's integrated UHD GPU.

The laptop comes with a premium metallic finish. In terms of dimensions, it is 19 mm thick and weighs 1.68 kg. Haier packs all the standard port options into the Y16, including two USB ports, a Type-C port with PD charging support, an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, a Kensington security slot, and a Micro SD card slot. And a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Unlike other laptops like Infinix XAir Pro+The Haier Y16 is equipped with a full numeric keypad thanks to its large dimensions. Other features include an HD webcam (720p/30fps) with dedicated shutter, a 45Wh battery with 90W fast charging, a large touchpad, a premium metallic finish, and dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi.
