To improve smartphone integration, Honda is now integrating Android Auto into the system on board the Honda CRF 1100 L Africa Twin.
Honda Africa Twin or Africa Twin “Adventure Sports” owners can install new jobs at their dealer via software update.
Android smartphone owners can easily access their mobile contents via the Android Auto pairing tool. This enables, for example, trouble-free use of voice commands, navigation through Google Maps, or use of music, media, and messaging apps.
With clear user interface and voice control, Android Auto is designed to reduce driver distraction. If you want to try the upgrade on your own, it’s at Honda appropriate software and instructions.
Android Auto connectivity solution is already in use in Honda for the GL1800 Gold Wing, with more models to follow. Until then, many other Honda models such as the CB 1000 R or Forza 750 and X-ADV and optionally Forza 350 scooter models can be connected to a smartphone using the Honda Road Sync app.
In the future, Android smartphone users will be able to connect their mobile phones with Africa Twin more easily.
