Honda offers New Africa Dual 2022. The technical basis of the bike is almost unchanged, but the new version of the Africa Twin standard model now has a standard aluminum rear rack and new graphics called the ‘Big Logo’. The DCT dual clutch gearbox version has sleek settings for the first two gears. At lower speeds and in the first two gears, the clutch release is designed to be more smooth and progressive.
So Africa is a dual machine 1,084 cc parallel dual with 102 hp at 7,500 rpm. And 105 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The semi-double cradle frame is made of steel and has an aluminum seat post, aluminum swingarm and multi-adjustable suspension derived from the CRF450R (both 45mm inverted fork with 230mm travel and single shock absorber travel with 220mm). The electronic equipment has a 6-axis IMU interstellar platform that oversees all driving assistance: 7-level HSTC traction control, 2-mode Corning ABS, 3-level antiviral. In the version with DCT gearbox, it also affects gear changes while cornering. Throttle Pie Wire Accelerator offers 6 rides, 4 presets (Tour, Urban, Gravel, Offroad) plus 2 fully customizable. The tall, rally-style device features a 6.5 ”color TFT touchscreen that integrates Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity for all smartphones. The additional LCD screen below expands the range of information displayed. Full LED lighting system, DRL daytime running lights, and ship control are guaranteed.
