Huff: The boy steals the cell phone and then puts it back

There was a 31-year-old from Hove on Friday afternoon (July 23, 2021) with a 12-14-year-old boy at a cell phone store downtown. The boy took a high-quality cell phone from a shelf and after a short time put it in his pocket.

The 31-year-old helped the boy by covering up the crime. Then they both left the store with their cell phones. This was announced by the Hof Police Inspectorate in a press release.

The saleswoman noticed the theft and followed up on the two. With the support of other witnesses, they found the perpetrators a few meters away.

Then the young man returned to the store, put the cell phone back on the screen and ran away. The value of the mobile phone is 1,300 euros.

The 31-year-old has been reported for mass theft, and has not provided any information about her companion. Video surveillance of the shop is watched and evaluated. It is possible that the identity of the young man will be clarified during the investigation.
