In the streets of Orléans, the mobile bar “Le Fiesta'Vélo” is full!

On Thursday evenings, in the streets of downtown Orléans, it is hard to miss the Fiesta'Vélo. With ten participants on board and its loud music, This mobile bar attracts the attention of interested passersby. It must be said that this concept (where guests have to use the pedals to move the car) is not yet well known in France: “We discovered mobile bars during a trip abroad with my husband Christophe, and we found them to be great.“Says Virginie Bouquet, co-director of Fiesta'Vélo.

This couple from Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin launched this concept at the end of 2023. The rest of the year, he offers tours of the department, and of the vineyards in particular, to discover the culinary and wine heritage of the region. But since the beginning of summer, Christophe and Virginie have been wandering around the centre of the Johannine city. Our customers are mostly locals, and many colleagues who want to experience something other than a simple drink on the terrace after work.Virginie explains. During the 30-minute trip to Orleans, she is in charge of distributing drinks and setting the mood, while Christophe, who is at the front, acts as the driver.

To move forward, everyone must do their part by pedaling… Otherwise it is difficult to move forward! It's sporty, and it requires participation!“Laughs Agnes, who came with about ten of her colleagues to enjoy the ride.”This has been tempting me for a while. It's really great, we laugh a lot and there's a good atmosphere on the plane.Once the parade is over, participants can, if they wish, enjoy an aperitif at Place du Martroi, to soak up the last rays of sunshine.
