The Municipal Police of Isigny-sur-Mer Calvados was equipped with a new car to improve its functionality and provide the best possible service to the residents. The municipality wants local and field work.

It’s all about muscle strength

The two colleagues chose not to equip themselves with electric bikes but rather with classic mountain bikes.

“Electric assistance is good on hilly terrain and traveling 50 kilometers a day. In Isigny, it’s flat! We hike a maximum of 2 hours for 20 km. We wanted our mountain bike outings to be sporty. The city council wanted to order electric bikes, but we refused. This made it It is possible to allocate the cost difference between electrical and standard equipment elsewhere.”

The Municipal Police will have an important job at the Blue Zone response level from 4 April. The mayor also wants vigilance to be paid to dog litter.
