As summed up by the man who signed some of the most worshiped compositions in the epic, “I was a director of the Pokémon video game series, from Pokemon Ruby Version and Pokemon Sapphire Version, to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, and was involved in the development of several video games, including Pokémon GOWhile thanking fans for their support throughout this journey, which began in 1996 with the Japan release of Pokémon Green and Pokémon Red, Masuda is also outlining her future projects. Within the Pokémon Company, Masuda will be putting into practice, using her in-depth knowledge of the brand to develop new services and products.

In the future, I hope to go beyond the boundaries of video games, and try to bring more surprises, fun and excitement to people all over the world, while doing my best to connect with people, expand the circle of “game” and contribute to the emergence of a richer world to share.
