Medion pediatric tablet E10440: 10 Zller
Aldi tablet Medion 10440 is a 10 inch tablet that displays games, movies and websites at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels; The kids’ tablet can’t handle the usual Full HD playback with 1920 x 1080 pixels. With dimensions of 259 x 156 mm, it is well compact, and the accompanying thick protective cover, also called “shock absorber”, allows the size to inflate to 282 x 176 mm. With the bumper, the Medion should also survive falling off the table without major injuries.
MediaTek Quad Core CPU
An inexpensive system on a chip (SoC) from MediaTek acts as a drive in Aldi tablet: MT8167, which manufacturers often use for inexpensive tablets. It has four ARM Cortex-A35 cores operating at a maximum of 1.3GHz when required. The PowerVR GE8300 graphics chip, also planted in the SoC, takes care of the image reproduction. MT8167 can store the calculated data temporarily in 3GB working memory. Customers shouldn’t expect any speed records from the SoC.
