Multitasking on the Meta Quest headset will just get a little easier. The video was posted on the topics.Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has introduced a new feature to Meta Quest: the ability to open six windows at once. The previous limit was three windows at a time.
The new six-window mode works on Quest Pro, Quest 2, and Quest 3, but you need to enable it.
To do this, go to Settings and then Experimental. You will see an option to allow this.
Unique multi-tasking configuration
Unfortunately, you're not entirely free to position your windows. Meta explains that you can arrange up to three panels in a new “hinged” layout, and then place up to three more panels wherever you want, creating the ultimate multitasking setup.
If you want to focus on one window, you can click the “Theater View” button on any panel to automatically highlight it and dim all other windows.
Of course, just because you can have six windows open doesn’t mean everything will run smoothly. It all depends on which six things you’re using. In Zuckerberg’s post, which showed six simultaneous fireworks videos, some of the videos appeared to have a noticeable drop in quality.
For comparison, Vision Pro lets you place windows exactly where you want them in the environment.

Meta Quest v67 update
This six-window feature is part of the Meta Quest v67 update, which is expected to roll out soon. If it hasn’t shown up in your Experimental Features section yet, you won’t have to wait long.
With the version 67 update, you’ll also get featured content from curated creators in your Horizon feed. Meta says it’s partnered with creators like A Wolf in VR, SteveKnows, m155yu, and more. You’ll be able to like or share any content, making your Horizon feed even more social. Meta adds that this new content will allow you to discover new games and apps.
The six-window display should be available as soon as you get the new software update, but the new features for creators will roll out gradually.
