Mobile journalism that serves everyone

Galen Sur Besper. Mobile printing press at Matras Farm. Matras Farm is experiencing a shortage of projects, the latest of which is the provision of a mobile printing press. “Don’t waste your fruit anymore, make juice!” This allows you to save time, add value to your fruit and enjoy its juices throughout the winter,” explain Lorelei Tridon and Virgil Jarrell.

Matras Farm is therefore offering this new service to anyone who wishes: the printing can be done on the farm or directly at the volunteers' headquarters. Eventually, the Matras-sur-Terre association wants to be able to travel to the villages, as distilleries have done up until now.

Once the fruit is harvested, sorted and rinsed by hand, it is put into a crusher to be finished in a recovery tank, then it heads to the press which has racks with a food cloth in each frame to hold the slurry. Then comes filtration time where you can enjoy the golden liquid flowing through a small tap. The juice is then bottled and pasteurized.
