Residents of Val-d'Or responded to the sixth edition of the “Gaming Event 15-2” that concluded on Sunday.
Over the course of three days, participants were able to immerse themselves in the world of games in all their forms, whether board, role-playing, escape, or video games.
Organizers estimate that approximately 2,000 people participated in one or more of the program activities. Coordinator Marie-Laure Aubin does not hesitate to talk about a record year.

“It was crazy all weekend,” she says. We had a record year in terms of traffic and new fan attendance. The board game has really made its mark on society. We are responding to the need to come together, to come together. We have a great variety of cultural activities, but the game brings something more.
Committed speakers
Actor Norman D'Amour joins author Patrick Senecal as spokesperson for this sixth screening. A true gaming enthusiast, he is pleased with the unified nature of the 15-2 event.

He confirms that I remember from the weekend that there are a lot of gaming enthusiasts all over the world. We have succeeded in democratizing it, and that is a good thing. I saw children, adults and many people playing together. This is what matters most to me. We get to know each other through play.
Marie-Laure Aubin realizes that the presence of official speakers throughout the weekend contributed to the success of the festival.
Patrick now seems well integrated into the action and we host Normand, a huge gaming enthusiast. They are committed speakers who don't count their minutes and come to play with the audience. This is certainly a guarantee of success
concludes the coordinator.
