Press and developers invited to Nintendo
If there's one announcement that gamers are eagerly awaiting, it's this one. nintendo switch 2Although we don't yet officially know what it will be called or what form it will take, the console that will follow the Nintendo Switch is already a reality. The Japanese manufacturer even mentioned a few months ago that it could be considered a “The next model of Nintendo Switch“Which could reassure those who feared that such a good concept would be lost in a risky search for innovation as we often see at Nintendo. But for now, the Big N has been very tight-lipped on the subject, even preferring to announce right before the last two Nintendo Directs that the console would not be introduced there. However, All this may change soon if recent events are to be believed.
Word on the street is that several developers were invited to Nintendo of America yesterday.

NVC Podcast Team (our Nintendo-specific podcast from our colleagues at IGN, editor's note): “We've been invited by Nintendo for something next week but can't talk about it.”
Developers yesterday. Press next week.
The math is right. It's almost time.
You read that right, there are serious rumors spreading about this. Several developers were reportedly invited by Nintendo of America just yesterday. In the current context, all of this can already be interpreted as a presentation of the console for those who will have to work on it soon. But in addition, The NVC Podcast team announced that they were also invited without being able to say more. Many are starting to think that the Nintendo Switch 2 is due to be announced soon, and we have to admit that the event does seem imminent.
New Game Officially Coming to Nintendo's Next Console
But if Nintendo's invitation to developers and press isn't enough to convince you of an upcoming announcement about a Nintendo Switch replacement, know thatThe first game for this future console has been officially announced. In fact, just a few hours ago, the creators of My Time At Portia and My Time At Sandrock released the first trailer for their third game: My time at EvershineAt the end of the latter (which you can discover in our autoplayer), we can see that only the Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series logos are present. The absence of Nintendo Switch is therefore conspicuous, a fact that is quite surprising for a game like this. There is actually a very concrete explanation for this: the game will actually be released on Nintendo's next console. The developers at Pathea Games have already announced:
We are committed to releasing My Time at Evershine on PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and future Nintendo platforms yet to be announced.
So the first game announced for this future console is officially My Time at Evershine, even if the developers have been conspicuously careful not to reveal the logo or name of the console in question. When we combine this announcement with the above mentioned invitations, we have to admit that everything seems to be accelerating at Nintendo. We imagine we'll have to be more patient before we can spot the beast, but we're very hopeful it's just a matter of days.
