Basic phone, NokiaIn the 2000s, when you had Mobicarte, a limited calling plan or Orange SMS/MMS, consumer monitoring allowed you to see what balance you had remaining.

Old and unlimited number

The #123# keys were undoubtedly the ones that were most used on the T9 mobile keyboard, especially 3310, in order to know how many SMS messages remained in your balance, and at this time also shorthand typing was ideal to avoid paying for two SMS messages to transmit information.

However, with the arrival of unlimited calling and texting, #123# has fallen into disuse for those with a plan, less so for regular Mobicarte users. But this short consumer tracking number will disappear next month in Orange according to iGen.

It will no longer be possible to know your balance in this way, and you will then have to resort to other solutions offered by the operator. From your mobile phone, you can always access consumption monitoring via 555 which is a voice service or directly from the Orange et Moi or MySosh applications for those who have the 2-hour package.
