Under the command of billionaire Jared Isaacman, the mission included pilot Kit Poteet and mission specialists Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon, both from SpaceX.

As planned, the SpaceX capsule deployed first parachutes and then main parachutes, slowing its journey until it hit the water.
