O2 collects all broadband connections under the name My Home and prepares the correct internet, including landline, for every home ?? Regardless of whether it is over LTE / 5G, VDSL, cables or optical fibers. Depending on your requirements and availability, you can choose the best combination of connectivity and tariffs for your site from different types of services. If the digital infrastructure in your city leaves something you desire, O2’s HomeSpot may be the solution for you. With an LTE router, you can surf from home independently of the landline via O2 cellular network with speeds up to 50Mbps. O2 my Home also has something in store for optical fibers: Thanks to collaborating with providers like Wilhelm.tel or Our Green Glass Fiber (UGG), customers in certain regions can already combine a high-speed internet connection with the O2 My Home tariff. This is currently possible in Hamburg or the Rhineland-Palatinate in Bernkastel Wittlich, for example, and in other communities in the near future.

Connectivity options

- LTE / 5G HomeSpot: Ideal for small families and normal internet usage with up to 2 people. WLAN comes from the socket via LTE HomeSpot, which you simply supply with a SIM card. Then you can start browsing immediately at a speed of up to 50 Mbps. So you can stream over O2 cellular network without hassle in SD and HD resolutions, do your home office tasks or video conferencing without jolts. If you want to continue using the tariff after the free year ends, it will cost 29.99 € per month.
- VDSL: Here comes the Internet traditionally over the fixed network ?? Speeds up to 100 Mbps. Connectivity is very suitable for mid-sized families or shared apartments whose residents flock widely in SD, HD, or UHD and sometimes play online. With VDSL, you can download 500MB files like photos or videos in just 40 seconds and take advantage of unlimited data volume! If you want to continue using the tariff after twelve months, you are paying 34.99 euros per month.
- Cable: With this connection, you can access the Internet via the TV’s cable jack. This enables you to achieve speeds of up to 250 Mbps. This makes the cable ideal for large families or families with a strong desire for data. The connection is also ideal for repeaters and professional gamers, because the size and speed are unlimited and allow 4K video streaming without reloading. If you want to continue using the tariff after twelve months, you are paying 44.99 euros per month.
- Optical Fiber: At speeds of up to 1 Gb / s over a fiber optic network, there are no longer any limits to your journey into the digital world. After twelve months, the tariff will cost you 59.99 euros per month if you renew.
This is how the Reader Test is done
COMPUTER BILD searches for two testers per category to test the internet over the specified connection and evaluate stability and speed. IF THE COMPUTER BILD DOES YOUR CHOICE, MAKE SURE YOU WILL RECEIVE THE TEST PACKAGE WITHOUT EMPLOYEE, INSTALL THE AVAILABLE PRODUCTS AND SET UP YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION. Fill out the test report provided and document your test with helpful pictures. If you do all of this on time, you can keep the sent products and use the O2 Flex tariff for twelve months for free. If you are satisfied with your tariff, you do not have to take any action. The tariff continues as usual from the thirteenth month. Then you pay the normal monthly costs. Otherwise, you can cancel every month with four weeks’ notice through the end of the month. More details on sharing:
