Samsung’s Gaming Hub brings Smart TVs with access to Stadia and GeForce Now

Samsung unveiled a new line of smart TVs at CES 2022 designed to gather many of your gaming needs in one place. With the Gaming Hub, you can start console games right from your TV’s home screen, so you can play them faster.

Smart TVs are the first Samsung devices in a long time that you can play Triple-A video games from the cloud and not just from your Xbox, PlayStation or PC.

You can also access Samsung’s new game streaming service via the hub. The company mysteriously announced its latest project, Cloud Games, in October.

You can connect third-party consoles and headphones to compatible TVs, so you may not need any additional hardware to play games on the platform.

It is possible for all gamers to access other streaming services via the hub, for example B. on NVIDIA’s GeForce Now, Stadia, and Utomik’s PC gaming platform. Microsoft also announced at E3 last year that a smart TV app for Xbox Game Pass is in the works. Maybe this will end up in the Game Center at some point.

Samsung has also thought of gamers when it comes to hardware. The company is launching 4K and 8K TVs with a 144Hz refresh rate, which could help games run more smoothly. GeForce Now has been offering a 120fps option since October.
