There have been a lot of headlines regarding the metaverse in the past few weeks. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has it in one Youtube video He talks about the future possibilities of metaverses and shows what they might have in store for us. Admittedly, only a lot is being prepared and may take a few more years, but The-Sandbox Project really does show what to expect.
As mentioned earlier, The-Sandbox is a virtual game in which players can create their own worlds. You can buy virtual land with tokens and trade digital items. Even Snoop Dogg has bought land in the game and is building his own digital villa.
Snoop Dogg will also launch its NFT collection of player avatars and a limited “Snoop Dogg Private Party Pass” that will give users VIP access to virtual concerts, events, Q&A and special NFT drops.
Snoop Dogg will also offer a 3D avatar collection, and players will be able to create games with “Doggfather” virtual items such as Snoop Dogg’s personal set of cars, dogs, figurines, memorabilia and more.
In early December, The Sandbox made headlines when a luxury virtual yacht sold for $650,000. The three-story yacht has two helipads, a ballroom, hot tubs, and a DJ cabin. It was designed as part of the NFT Deluxe Collection for Sandbox. Private islands, speed boats, and jet skis are some of the other digital assets available.
Sandbox is one of the first Metaverse games where players can build, own and monetize their virtual experiences. The project recently completed Phase One and will soon move to the next phase, according to the homepage.
