TALKER 2 was supposed to release on April 28, 2022, but developer GSC Game World has bad news in this regard. The studio announced on Twitter that the action game’s release date has been pushed back to December 8, 2022.
The statement said that the decision to postpone the match “was not easy.” But this would make it possible to offer a game that “can live up to expectations”. The developers also write: “These seven additional months of development are essential to achieving our vision and achieving the desired state of the game. STALKER 2 is the largest project in GSC history, and needs to be thoroughly tested and improved. We are convinced that development should take the necessary time, especially on a project like this.”

The statement ends with a promise to fans that more information, updates and special offers for the game will come in due course and that the team has an “exciting and important year ahead”. After the announcement of the NFTs in STALKER 2, the delay in the release date will likely be an even bigger disappointment for fans. At least, the developers are back with their integration with NFT (we mentioned).
STALKER 2 will now be available on December 8, 2022 for Xbox Series X | S and PC. The game will be available to all Game Pass subscribers as soon as it is released.
