T-Mobile will give you $1,000 to switch from Verizon or AT&T

Starting tomorrow, T-Mobile will be making an offer that will be easy to consider if you’re an existing Verizon or AT&T customer and don’t mind switching to the Uncarrier. The new promotion will earn you enough money to get your current phone back to connect to their network and use all the 5G networks they claim to own.

The promo It seems very obvious at first glance. All you have to do is make sure your current phone is eligible and will work on the T-Mobile network (it will probably work fine), then take a screenshot of your current payment plan balance. for the last device or bill, then T-Mobile will issue you up to $1,000 via a prepaid virtual card (received within 15 days max) to offset and offset with your old carrier.

Do you have an entire family you’d like to bring to T-Mobile? The promotion covers “$1,000 for a maximum of five devices,” so everyone come along and clear those phone bills.

The fine print indicates that any phones you plan to bring will need to be unlocked and T-Mobile can help you with that or at least tell you how to do it. They may also ask for proof that you have been with the old carrier for at least 90 days and are in good standing with them.

What are the eligible devices? Again, the chances of you getting one working on T-Mobile are pretty high. At T-Mobile’s current offering, where they’re offering $800 to switch, they list phones like the iPhone 12 Pro through the iPhone 6s, the Pixel 4 through the Pixel 2, and the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 through the Galaxy S8. I imagine they’ll also be dealing with this year’s new wave of phones, but we’ll have to confirm that when the promo starts on October 22nd.
