About four years ago, it was announced that Neko Atsume, a popular Japanese game about collecting and playing with feline friends, would be getting a PlayStation VR version. Although this was achieved in 2018, it was only released in its home country of Japan with no indication whatsoever for western cat lovers. Discover Gematsu, the game is now available in North America.
Yes, Neko Atsume VR was released today on the PS Store in the US and Canada. Played on a standard screen or with a PSVR headset, the game is a sandbox experience where you collect and then interact with a number of cute cats. You can feed these virtual animals and play with them until your heart is filled with mellow joy.
