The Fortnite Tower Defense map brings the game back to its roots

Fortnite was originally released as a type of tower defense game where you have to save the world from the hordes of incoming monsters by building traps to slow them down and using weapons and teamwork to take them down. It’s a far cry from the version of the game the vast majority of us are playing now, as it was all about the PvE experience, not the battle royale game that will be added later.

Well, Redditor has taken it upon himself to recreate this old school experience in a new way and created his own tower defense map which you can play with code 3696-2978-8063. A user called on Reddit DragonRage508 made the mapAnd the trailer is great. The map shows you as a king trying to protect his castle when zombies are surprised to invade it.

You can take revenge not only by shooting them yourself, but also by buying knights to help you. These knights have weapons and you can upgrade them as you progress to make sure they can protect your castle. It really is a great tower defense showdown, well thought out. In addition to upgrading your guards, you can place traps and blocks to slow down monsters, and you can also recycle things you don’t want.

Even better, there are a few things still under construction, indicating that DragonRage508 will be working on it for a while. This means that the situation will likely continue to improve, and it may be that if you play with it a lot, you can see it grow in the same way as the Early Access game. It’s hard not to love the creative mode in Fortnite, isn’t it?

Tower defense has arrived! Code: 3696-2978-8063 from Fortnite Creative

Outside of the creative modes, you may want to learn more about the best Fortnite skins this season. There have also been some changes to the map recently, and the Daily Bugle will soon get a light turret to boot.
