digital assistant It helps you bypass your administrative procedures on the Internet and avoid scams on the web, in particular thanks to Christophe Venin, who started this activity in the Chalon-sur-Saône region of Saône-et-Loire. “My Digital Assistant” is a company with branches all over France, and therefore in Burgundy. Interview with Christoph Finn.
We can say that you have moved from personal assistance, since you were a policeman at Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, to digital assistance. What prompted you to embark on this new adventure?
Indeed, the desire for change. I spent more than thirty years in the National Gendarmerie, and at a time in my life I wanted to change my job. My mission is to serve people, so in September 2019, my wife and I created the franchise company, My Digital Assistant, in Chalons-sur-Saone.

We target all audiences. We work to support everyone in the digital world.
Today there are many administrative procedures that are performed online. Here too, can you help people get out of it?
In fact, with the 2022 Action Plan planning to put 100% of the administrative procedures online, it is part of my daily life. I accompany people and individuals. So of course, from time to time, we do things for them, but the goal is still to support them so that they become independent in these daily routines.
The digital world is also unfortunately traps and scams that are set for the people who use them. As an ex-cop, should it be important to you to be aware of these dangers?
Indeed. We are also mentioned on the platform cybermalveillance.gouv.fr So, when people contact us after a scam, we accompany them. There is tech support to go to work on their computer, but we also explain to them that they are victims of a scam and how to avoid it. We even held conferences in municipalities to explain the dangers and how to combat them. We prevent these digital scams that are increasingly present in the daily lives of digital users.
How much do the training courses you offer cost?
When we do individual training, we start training at €69 per hour, but all our interventions are subject to tax credit. When you work for the local authorities, CCAS, there is a first contact with us and we place quotes for individual training since each time. During this communication, we listen to them, analyze the needs and plan with them a program that we determine with appreciation.
How many clients do you need for this business model to be profitable?
maximum ! Today, we know that there are 13 million French people who are far from digitized, which equates to roughly 6000 people in Bourgogne-Franch-Comté. So we have a job. We have work to do.
