Today FuRyu and developer Historia have a nine-minute trailer The effect of Caligula 2 Chest. In addition to the many game scenes, we also get a good overview of many of the characters in the game. It starts with idols, remorse and as well as the protagonist. This is followed by eight Obbligato musicians and Go-Home Club members.
Obbligato’s musicians were presented to us in detail in advance. Each video is an appropriate musical introduction. Machina, Pandora, MU-kun and #QP all started with the trio Doctor, Ill, and Kudan. After that, Bloffman was Obbligato’s eighth and final musician.
That’s what The Caligula Effect 2 is all about
As in the first part, players have to return to reality from a seemingly perfect world. Caligula Effect 2 was developed by Historia, with Takuya Yamanaka as producer. The story comes from Tadashi Satomi, who also worked on the first character games in that capacity.
Specifically, the virtual character Regret created the world of Redo, where people are supposed to live in some kind of heaven in order to forget about their problems. However, the virtual idol is suddenly disturbed by the student’s memory recovery. So the Go-Home Club was reestablished to escape regret. All Go-Home Club members have to face their own trauma if they want to exit the world of Redo’s dreams.
Regrets, however, are powered by Obbligato musicians. Players must now attract other students of Tatefushi Academy to the Resistance Club in order to win the battle. In combat you can anticipate the movements of your opponents and thus use a tactical advantage.
The Caligula Effect 2 is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 24th in Japan. NIS America will be bringing an RPG to us in the fall. In this country there are Japanese voices and English scripts.
