Simone Despierre, animator at Tarascon-sur-Ariège entertainment center, created the role-playing game, Aventurine.
It is a kind of preview of the Tarascon-sur-Ariège children’s entertainment center. The lucky ones were able to test the latest definitive version of the role-playing game created by Simon Despierre, l’Aventurine. A pencil, a touch of imagination and the imaginative journey can begin.
Children of the recreation center in their own way contributed to the creation. »
Born from his rich experience with children in extracurricular and recreation centers, the role-playing game created by the facilitator is a wonderful blend of team consultation, theatrical improvisation, and graphics: “The children of the recreation center contributed in their own way to the creation of Aventurine because I finished the version with them, explains Simon Despierre. This means that some of the children present today have already had the opportunity to play an earlier version.”
The host did not hesitate to improve the rules of the game from year to year with his young companions. Inspired by the mother of a narrator since his childhood, it is only natural that Simone Despierre took the lead: “I chose to call it aventurine in reference to the precious stone. I was looking for a mysterious name that would indicate adventure,” explains Tarascon Entertainment Center organizer: Already suggested scalable and creative activities according to the children’s universe, but this animation took a turn that I did not expect. In the face of children’s enthusiasm, many parents showed keen interest in this very special toy and did not hesitate to ask for it.
