(ETX Daily Up) – Vigicrues, the information service on the flood risks of France’s major rivers, is now accessible via a dedicated mobile application.
This application, launched by the Ministry of Environmental Transformation, aims to inform the population of the dangers of flooding on the main rivers of France. It also allows you to receive personalized notifications.
In addition to the site VegecrossThe app provides real-time information on the level of flood alertness (green, yellow, orange or red), national and local information bulletins written by flood forecasters as well as on appropriate behavior advice for each situation.
It also allows you to create a personal account to take advantage of personalized warnings, such as a notification for each new bulletin that is published or when a flood alert changes color in a section of a waterway, territory or section.
Today, more than 17 million people are at risk of flooding in France.
Download Vigicrues for free from Google Play (Android). An iOS compatible version should arrive later.
