There was a time not so long ago when almost no one would have to worry about applying software updates to a computer screen … A bit like cars getting more and more electronics, Apple has integrated the Apple A13 Bionic chip into its latest display studios, the same chip found in iPhone 11 / Pro / Max.
This chip and the motherboard on which it is located is responsible for all the magic necessary for the optimal operation of Hey Siri commands and sound processing, but also for more impressive sound reproduction and the operation of the “Center” webcam. “This follows you as you move so you always stay on the field.
Studio screen error prevents some Macs from updating
Disassembling the display next to the iMac display shows that Apple’s latest displays are covered in electronics – so much so that, at first glance, one might wonder, facing the two open devices, which are actually the computer. If the problem persists, contact an Apple Authorized Service Center.” As you understand, screen update is not separate from macOS 12.3.1 update. Suddenly, those trying to apply the latest security patches to their PC are left to get stuck in macOS 12.3…
…unless you detach the studio monitor and temporarily use a less complex external monitor. Rebooting the screen, even a few times, does not solve the problem. Thus, the only solution for many is to return their screen to the Apple Store. For now, Apple is refusing to make any official comment. But the error appears to come from a concern on the company’s servers.

If you’re affected by the issue, you only have two options to update your mac: either temporarily replace your Studio Display with a more classic one at the time of the macOS 13.2.1 update, or return the device to the Apple Store. Two equally impractical solutions…
