Samsung Galaxy S21: Problems with Google Pay after an update

Samsung releases security updates for its Galaxy smartphones every month. The May Update is already here, at the end of April. Galaxy S21 series models will be the first to receive the patch. This not only closes security holes, but it should also contain enhancements for the camera and the Quick Share function. Samsung has already tweaked its camera settings with the April Update. The South Korean manufacturer has not yet commented on other innovations (as of April 27, 2021).

After updating before updating

Once the May update was available, early users reported that Google Pay was no longer working after the update. It appears that the affected devices do not meet the necessary safety standards. So Galaxy S21 owners who use Google Pay for mobile payments should wait for Samsung to resolve the update issue.
