Released in 2019, Outer Prairie It is one of the most loved indie games in recent years, although it has the publisher support بدعم Annapurna Interactive Since crowdfunding on Figs. The free adventure against the background of exploration of small spherical planets has already captivated many players, thanks to its unique world and narrative that follows the rhythm of our readings and discoveries.

not time for Mobius Digital Games To move to another project, because the small studio has A (unique) extension of Outer Wilds to offer us ! Yes, eye echoes, preview in steam A few months ago, it is a reality After moving toAnnapurna Interactive Gallery. After taking a strange space photo, we will Explore the deepest part of the solar system As part of what will be shaping up to be our last trip. Director Alex Beachum didn’t want to talk much about DLC On PlayStation Blog مدونة, but sparks ambitious research whose content and format respond in a surprising way to the core game.

Mobius Games is happy to tell you about our first (and only) expansion to Outer Wilds! Eye Echoes allow you to discover a mysterious new place in the heart of the solar system and you will have many secrets to discover. We designed this expansion as if it had always been part of the Outer Wilds world, but it has never been discovered before. When the Echoes of the Eye releases, head to the new exhibit at the Timber Hearth Museum that will be the starting point for a new adventure in the darkest region of the solar system.

You might be wondering why we decided to add additional content when Outer Wilds already provided a very comprehensive experience for players. As a small, relatively unknown studio, we needed a modest project to immediately follow the release of Outer Wilds while continuing our way as developers and delivering something that Outer Wilds fans would desire.

Internally, we first thought about some fairly traditional ideas for Outer Wilds DLC. Ultimately, we realized that we couldn’t add an expansion to the existing game without giving players something new and meaningful to explore while adding items that would benefit the game’s story. If Echoes of the Eye doesn’t have the same scale as the original game, this new location has more depth than anywhere else in the solar system. Our testers were pleasantly surprised by this aspect of DLC!

As you might expect, adding something of this magnitude to the base game was challenging. Creating Outer Wilds content is a complex and extensive process, and our DLC quickly grew into an expansion in its own right. Since this DLC needed to work with new players as well as veterans, the Echoes of the Eye structure prompted us to design a kind of mini-world to mirror the original game. However, don’t expect Echoes of the Eye to be just a mini version of the original game. We’ve risked our storytelling techniques and added a lot of new mechanics. Outer Wilds has always had terrifying elements, but this expansion is very clearly leaning toward the horror side (don’t worry, we’ve added a “minor fears” option to the menu if you find this too intense for you.!).

As with Outer Wilds, eye echoes are revealed and the less you know when it’s time to play, the better. So we try to avoid spoiling the surprise for you before you have the chance to find out for yourselves. Like the original game, we drew many sci-fi elements for our story and the dynamic systems that would come into play. We can’t wait to see how fans react to new things coming out in the future, and as always, we’ve done our best to add new items for players looking for answers. But beware, because while eye echoes may contain the answers to your questions, it may be worth considering if they shouldn’t be left in the dark.

release dateeye echoes It’s already fixed Until September 28, 2021 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. At the same time, it was remembered A Switch port was still planned, not for this summer, but until the end of 2021.
