Using digital technology for educational purposes is the High School for the Future project, which began in 2018 at Georges Pompidou High School in Castelnau-le-Liz. “4 years ago, the district partnered with Hewlett Packard (HP) to free up funds for a high school investing in a novelty and innovation project. “, he recalls. For this purpose, the School’s Center for Documentation and Information (CDI) has been redesigned. Hewlett Packard (HP) is paying a portion of the apprenticeship tax to the tune of €97,000 to provide this venue with innovative educational tools.”Never before has CDI welcomed so many students who read Rejoices Ophélie Heurtefeux, librarian professor.

The visit continued with a meeting with teachers using Pearltrees, the official platform for storing, document sharing and social networking. This tool gives access to “granular” textbooks (which can be referenced in small units), and allows you to submit homework, even in the form of a video capsule.
Other surprises for this “lab,” as Principal Paul Marie Berenguer calls it, are three virtual reality headsets that allow high school students to prepare for their grand baccalaureate oral exam, for a job interview, or simply to visit an art gallery.

Arnaud Lépinois, CEO of HP France, welcomed the outcome of this innovative adventure. “We wanted to do more than distribute LoRdi to high school students by participating in a project that gives meaning to this tool “.
For Kamel Shibli:It’s rare to find so much cohesion and dynamism in an ecosystem that brings together private actors, startups, and educators… The future is to expand this experience! “.
This responds to National Education recommendations that recommend changing teaching methods, time management and learning spaces, based on the teams’ experience in the field and research.
