This weekend, Square Enix held an event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The event took place in Japan and resulted in two big announcements, including Kingdom Hearts 4, which most fans have been waiting for. Meanwhile, Square Enix has announced a new mobile game set to be released in closed beta this year, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link.
KINGDOM HEARTS: The Missing Link Coming Soon to iOS and Android
Although the RPG publisher hasn’t revealed many details about the upcoming mobile release, we know that it will have a real-world component where players can fight against Heartless of Kingdom Hearts through an original new story. In a short video, the title introduced its gameplay that offers a mixture of top-down exploration and 3D combat. Square Enix has also made it clear that six-player arena battles are planned, which is an important component these days for players.

Update for Kingdom Hearts Union Dark
Also on mobile, Square Enix announced that the final chapter of Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road will arrive next August in the Kingdom Hearts Union Dark Road app. A free update portends a terrible clash between Eraqus and Xehanort. Then the game will go completely offline, which is a good idea.
