As Activision recently confirmed that it is bringing the popular battle royale game to mobile, more and more information on this topic continues to emerge. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming arrival of Warzone Mobile.
Since its launch in March 2020, Warzone immediately attracted millions of gamers and since then, despite some downsides, its success remains undeniable. Battle royale is so popular that Activision quickly came up with the idea of bringing it to mobile.
If months go by without anything being confirmed, it’s been since March, as Activision used the second anniversary of the battle royal to announce its arrival on mobile. Here’s everything we know about her.
When will Warzone Mobile be available?
As of this writing, we don’t have any official information regarding the release date of Warzone Mobile. Activision confirmed on March 10 that the game is in development, without saying a release period.
Before the official announcement, some leaks suggested that it be released as early as 2022. However, this is only speculation.
New developers on the way
Besides formalizing Warzone Mobile, Activision has also stated that it will be recruiting new people to work on the project.

Activision brought together several notable studios and teams to work on the project. Solid State Studios, Digital Legends, Beenox, Activision Shanghai and Demonware have all come together to work on Warzone Mobile.
Warzone Mobile Closed Alpha – Project Aurora
Thanks for a recent article On the official websiteWe now know that Warzone Mobile’s official codename is Project Aurora. The article confirms that game development is ongoing and a closed alpha is in progress.
The game is still in development and we are in the middle of our first game test for Project Aurora’s Closed Alpha.They said.
Unfortunately, players cannot sign up for the Alpha program and will only be able to access this first version of Warzone Mobile through special invites.
Warzone Mobile’s code name is “Project Aurora” and it’s currently in Closed Alpha.

“Alpha is closed in size and with it we’re just looking to start improving mods, stress testing matches, fixing bugs, and gathering feedback and ideas on all aspects of the game as new features come online.”They explained to justify their choice.
Warzone mobile leaks
While Activision hasn’t officially revealed what maps will be coming to Warzone, data worker TheGhostOfHope has hinted that Verdansk will be back.

He also claimed that Warzone Mobile’s Verdansk will be an alternate version of the map, featuring a mix of some familiar POIs and new locations.
