aIn the 2021/22 season, Prime members can watch the best match in the UEFA Champions League every Tuesday exclusively and live as part of their membership – and at no extra charge. Amazon Prime announced this on February 2, 2021. After the first match, the provider presents the other highlights of match-day duels. So 16 matches can be watched exclusively on Prime Video during the season, including two play-offs, six matches in the group stage and eight matches in the knockout stage.
Hillman and Frederick Commentary
Prime Video introduced Sebastian Hillman as a new addition to the first-class team of experts. He has been running soccer matches on Pay TV since 1999 and is one of Germany’s most popular sports host. Heilmann receives support from Jonas Friedrich, one of the most experienced commentators on German football. While Hillman will lead the top 16 in the 2021/22 season as a supervisor, Jonas Friedrich comments on what is happening on the field. “I’m really looking forward to the challenge of hosting the UEFA Champions League for Amazon,” says Sebastian Hillmann. “We want to put together a great program and provide high entertainment value to viewers in Germany.
