DrThe German U-21 national team will face coach Stefan Kuntz, one of the hosts, in their opening match at the U-21 European Championship in Group A with Hungary. European U-21 Championship in two parts

The European U-21 Championship will be held in Hungary and Slovenia in 2021. The tournament is divided into two parts. The group stage runs from March 24th to March 31st, 2021. 16 teams compete in four groups of four each for a place in the quarter-finals. The first two of each group move to the last eight. Until then, there will be a respite: the knockout matches will only begin on May 31, 2021. According to current plans, the final match will be held on June 6, 2021 in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Positive news for fans at broadcast rights times, pay TV and streaming services: ProSieben shows all German U21 matches live on free TV under the brand “run”. The match begins on March 24, 2021 at 9 pm, with Hungary’s match against Germany. The remaining matches in the tournament will be broadcast by ProSieben MAXX and ran.de.
