The hack-‘n’-slash genre was clearly not exciting enough for the creators of “Creature in the Well” – so independent developer Flight School Studio added, of course, pinball elements to the colorful action game. From an isometric perspective, you fight your way through a simple world, reach the highest scores and solve environmental puzzles using original mechanics. There is also a story: in the role of an unknown robot engineer, you strike a mine in figure, as people search for shelter destroyed by a storm.

Unfortunately, there is a dark creature lurking in the depths that has collectively installed traps in the vast mine. You can’t defuse it with classic gadgets, but with a technique reminiscent of a game of pinball – a kind of “hack”. With the press of a button, you strike bullets around you and deflect them toward the traps. Every now and then you flip the keys with well-aimed shots and that way you solve shallow puzzles. Among other things, you collect cool additions that will strengthen your weapons. You also need a lot of strength, because after a short time playing, the opponent will be first in front of your nose – you will attack him with an ax that splits the ball.
