Linz. The analog performance of “Prometheus Unbound” at the Landestheater Linz received much attention, and now you can also experience the play in a live broadcast – on April 10, 11 and 12.
Plus the online premiere of Bellini’s movie “I’m Capuleti ei Montecchi “on Netzbühne in the Landestheater Linz, There’s another live broadcast from Landestheater Linz with “Prometheus Unbound.” After the popular analog shows at Landestheater Linz and Staatstheater Darmstadt, Unbound Prometheus is now being shown fully digitally in a live broadcast for the first time.
Theater in digital reality
The CyberRäuber project in co-production with Landestheater Linz and Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe as part of the “Social Virtualization – Theater in Digital Reality” project deals with virtual reality. Cyber thieves are working as digital narrators in the virtual reality scene. Prometheus once brought fire, technology, civilization and art to man. Accordingly, cyber thieves deal with the essence of art in the digital age. What is human art, what is artificial art? Can artificial intelligence be creative? And what happens when machine learning, the sounds, images, and text generated by the algorithms meet real actors? What if we unleashed Prometheus again?
For “Prometheus unbound,” they introduce neural networks and areas of artistic application in the traditional establishment of theater and allow human and artificial art to collide.
Live broadcast from Landestheater Linz
