The Dell G7 7500 gaming laptop is a high end model of gaming from the company, starting at over Rs 1 lakh. The laptop comes with a slightly heavy chassis, has a matte finish, and weighs around 2.5kg. The screen is very thin and the body grabs most of the weight. The laptop has RGB lighting that can be turned off if you want to save energy. Also, without RGB lighting, the laptop doesn’t shed itself like a gaming machine, which can be a plus or a minus depending on how you see it as a gamer.

The laptop has a 15.6-inch HD screen of 300Hz. It is securely attached to the center hinge, but since the hinge occupies only the upper middle portion of the case, you need to be careful when installing it.

The 300Hz screen, Intel Core-i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics make for a super smooth gaming experience. We’ve tried action games at very high settings and your laptop can play them quite easily, without taking a lot of falling frames. However, the heat dissipation is not very efficient and we found the keyboard and the rest of the chassis extremely hot after about an hour of gaming.

The sound from the laptop is crisp, clear and filling the room at full volume. It has served well for gaming sessions without headphones. You can also enjoy one or two tracks of Soft Rock and instrument music on the speakers; The sound reproduction is rich and the sounds are clear and loud.

Besides sound, the battery is one of Dell G7 7500’s strongest features. When not playing games, average laptop life was 3-4 hours when in use. For office work on MS Office and Google Suite, which requires less heavy application work. When inactive, your laptop battery may last longer.

The Dell G7 7500 has a lot of work to do: durable and no-frills design, impressive 300Hz display, good battery life, and audio output. It also provides smooth gaming performance, but heating issues are bothering the Dell G7 7500 and the display should be treated with caution. All in all, a very capable gaming machine that can double as a laptop in the office.
