Early in 2020, Xbox President Phil Spencer announced his wish StracheeryTo bring cloud services to TVs as well. “I think you’ll see cheaper hardware as part of our ecosystem when you think about streaming sticks and other things that someone wants to connect to their TV and play on xCloud,” he said at the time.

Microsoft has already teamed up with Samsung to bring cloud gaming to the manufacturer’s mobile devices. So it shouldn’t be long before xCloud also hits Samsung TVs.

With integrated services, gamers can easily pair their console to a TV and play new titles without the need for additional console hardware – provided they have a subscription to one of the supported cloud services.
