Career workshops offered by Info Jeunes

Between the ages of 15 and 30, it is time to ask questions about the future. Throughout the ages and depending on the situation, each person’s questions expand and address many topics: mentoring, training, sector change, professions, jobs, projects, additional training, rights, aid, etc.

However, finding information, contacts, listening or advice is not always easy.

Info Jeunes Sud-Hérault, sensitive to the issue, volunteered and went to meet two third-year classes at Buissonnets College in Capestang.

The Youth Information Service staff spent two mornings at Lycée des Buissonnets as part of mentoring. The informant, accompanied by a facilitator and three teachers, conducted workshops on exploring professions. During these half days under the mentoring sign, college students were able to grasp possible courses after the third thanks to Onisep slideshows, games on knowledge of trades and personality quiz to define their profile.

It is a very useful initiative for third-year grades because 47 pupils will transfer onto the professional track at the beginning of the school year, at CAP or in bac Pro. These are all guiding projects to prepare. Through refresher training and confidence, this is one of the goals of the college course at Les Buissonnets.

These events, held by Info Jeunes Sud-Hérault, aim to allow young people to write their own self-image, build their professional project and discover jobs that are likely to match their profile, skills, and traits. A small personal or group support will be available in the coming weeks, for example, a virtual reality headset for displaying trades.

Parents and youth are welcome to the Infojeunes space Monday through Friday to reflect on these questions.
