Caufield is among the players to be added to the video game rosters on Thursday. Newcomers also include Florida Panthers goalkeeper Spencer Knight, Ottawa striker Senator Shane Pinto, New York Rangers defender Zack Jones and Senator defender Jacob Bernard Docker.

Each of the skaters is assigned a rating that measures all of their skills. Caufield received a rating of 78, and so was Bernard Docker. Jones received a rating of 75 and Pinto, at 77. Knight had the highest ranking among new players, at 80.

The 20-year-old Caufield made his national league debut on April 26. The Habs First Team in Draft 2019 (15th overall) scored two goals in their first six matches. These two goals were scored in overtime.
