Redmond group developers have integrated a new popup in Edge version 91. The message is displayed as soon as the browser starts up and asks the user to use “Recommended browser settings”. Microsoft understands this to mean choosing Bing as the search engine. For some users, the popup is said to reappear after rejecting the change and restarting the computer.

If you no longer want to see popups, you have the option to deactivate the function via the flag settings. To do this, the URL “edge: // flags /” must be entered into the browser’s address bar.
