A press release from the embassy identifies this initiative as part of royal directives that call for improving consular services and bringing the administration closer to its users of the Moroccan diaspora.
And to add that “this operation, which witnessed a huge influx of our fellow citizens, allowed the Moroccan expatriates to obtain or renew a Moroccan identity document, whether from adults or older Moroccan minors. Over 12 years old, it was created in the three countries of dependence”.
On this occasion, the Ambassador of Morocco in the Dominican Republic, Zakaria Ghamiri, made it clear to the members of the attending community that this initiative responds to the need to provide a high-quality consular service and its proximity to all Moroccan citizens.
He said that assistance, protection, support and defense of MRE interests has been a permanent commitment of the entire Moroccan diplomatic staff deployed around the world, noting that King Mohammed VI has always granted a privileged position to Moroccans in the world. , as a complete and inseparable component of the motherland.
