Invictus Gaming took first place in the Chinese DPC League
Shanghai With a 2–0 apparent play-off match against Team Aster, Invictus Gaming took first place in the Chinese League at the Dota Pro Circuit. Thus, Captain Ding “De” Kong’s team qualified directly to the qualifiers in Singapore Major.
Second-placed Aster team finishes in the group stage, while Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD have to make their way through the wildcard stage.
Aster and IG finished the regular game stage with a score of 6: 1. Although IG had to register their only defeat to Aster Team in the previous match week, the team managed to retaliate just one day after the playoff.
IG is the only DPC winner in the six regions not invited directly to their league. In the closed-air qualifiers, the team barely reached the first division.
With the end of the Chinese DPC League, all of the participants in the Grand Singapore Championships have been decided. This starts on March 27th with the wildcard phase. Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD have to compete with four other teams, including Team Liquid and Nigma, for two places in the group stage.
