It’s a Dream: FanLife and the Mobile Studio

Mission: Make Quebec’s musical culture shine by going to meet the best that the province has to offer!

It all started in 2017 when Jacob Pomerleau, a sound designer and cultural entrepreneur, had the idea for the Bedouin studio.

I wanted to leave 9 to 5, get out of town for a bit, and play music wherever I wanted!

In April 2019, he was joined by his girlfriend Isabel Langlois, the duo live together, create, broadcast and produce music on his bus that serves as a home, studio and transportation facility. Their business has since grown and new buses have joined the colorful fleet.

Buses are specially designed for recordings, live sessions and intimate performances. The concept is organic and allows for great spontaneity. Every day is a crazy adventure!

What the couple especially likes about this lifestyle, which insiders call SchoolIt’s the magic it brings. The fact that it is unusual characterizes spirits so much.

The duo’s ambitions have no bounds and they would one day take the adventure further and run their fantastic buses to the US and elsewhere in Canada, but for now, this summer, he’s going on a tour to Amqui and intends to do so crossing several corners of Quebec, accompanied by a small team. A wonderful talent.
